Males: Keep Away. I'm Bashing Your Manly Drink.

So, Dr. Pepper's new commercial for their new 10-calorie soda is the most sexist thing to come out in a long time. Usually I'll ignore this stuff, but today I'm in a wee it of a mood so that isn't going to happen.

Exhibit A:

In my personal opinion, I find it ironic that it was a bunch of pussies hiding behind a screen who probably came up with the slogan for this "manly soda"... but I digress.

WTF was that? I mean really, that couldn't have gotten any more sexist even if they had a bunch of football players and weight lifters in the background.

What I do like, is Ellen commenting on it:

I love her - and she is right; why offend the half of the population that will most likely buy this drink and put it in the fridge. I will stick to my "girly drinks", I think. Whatever that is.

By the way, I would also like to point out that Dr. Pepper had Fergie as the spokeswoman for their ad for "Dr. Pepper: Cherry" earlier this YEAR! Yes, that's right.

This company has some serious problems. If you look at the two, it makes no sense! They can't possibly be gearing this sexed up Fergie commercial towards women, but at the same time, I find it hilarious that they have a woman promoting the fruity soda drink.

Anyway, I'll go back to drinking my girly drink and watching Must Love Dogs.
