Never Forget

Sunday, September 11, 2011

On September 10th, 2001, I flew back to Canada from the United States with my parents. On September 11th, the world changed. There really is not much more that I can say about it, as so much has already been said. I want what thousands of others around the world want, and that is a world where our problems aren't solved by killing innocent people. Humanity has made great advances as a whole, but there are still so many holes, and things that we lack as a planet.

You have to remember that you have a voice. Speak up and bring issues to the table. Challenge yourself to be a positive advocate for those around you. If you can show others that the ability to solve issues without resorting to violence, and extreme actions of hate, then eventually, the message will come full circle. You may not see it in your lifetime, but your ability to make this world better for those that will come after us, is something that you must utilize.

Find your guiding inspiration in a place where dreams are made. With a lifetimes preparation, there's no time to be afraid. Put our differences behind us, while we shine like the sun. See what we've all become - together we are one.
I Remember.
