Well, I turned 20 yesterday. No longer a teen. No longer able to mess around and not be productive. I have to buckle down and be completely serious now.

Ha! Who am I kidding. We all know that isn't going to happen.

It was a great day yesterday. One of my longest friends is here visiting for my birthday from Barbados, which is a wonderful way to celebrate! I had a BBQ on Sunday with some friends and family and that was so much fun. Then yesterday on my actual birthday, Charmaine and I went and got tattoos. Some of you may know the meaning behind mine, and if you don't, then that's okay with me! Here's a picture:

I honestly didn't think I would go through with it as I am the world's biggest baby when it comes to not just needles, but overall pain! However, it wasn't bad at all, and I am so glad that I did it.

Then last night, we went to the Katy Perry concert downtown. It was spectacular! She had a much better voice live than I thought she would have, and the theatrics of the show were incredible!

I also got a few very exciting pieces of good news within my family and with my life in the next year. So I am really thrilled. Good news always makes me happy, but when it comes on your birthday, it is even more exciting! Now today, Charmaine and I are off on some more adventures. She is only here until Monday morning so there is a lot to get done!

Happy Thursday!
